So don't try to stop me,
Don't try to stop me cause nobody can.
I've got a dream, a beautiful dream, and that makes me a man.
No don't try to stop me,
Don't try to stop me cause nobody can.
I've got a dream, a beautiful dream, and that makes me...
makes me a man.
When I saw the movie Emperor of the North(Pole), I knew I'd have to draw something from it. This picture is roughly inspired by several of the opening scenes: The ruthless conductor Shack is guarding his train, the 19, from hobos as it pulls off a siding; "King of Hobos" A No. 1 plans to jump it anyway.
XD At first, I coulda swore the train was about to hit the guy & I started laughing at my thought. Like, Atiticus, never saw that side of you. Lawl.
What I like about this pic is the landscape. But the only thing that's kinda confusing about the picture is that it looks like a part of the train is going to hit the guy in the suit. That's not criticism, just what I see. Nice shading, and the cloudy bright sky is a good touch.
If you ever saw the movie, you’d say it would serve him right if he did get run over.
But you’re right, I didn’t exactly mean for it to look like he was. I guess the idea was that the train was moving pretty slowly, and he was sort of pacing along in front of it. It’s hard to make a train look like it’s going slowly, though.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

The movie’s a little hard to find, but definitely not impossible. I highly recommend it.
