A quick break from working on old stuff. Rey ( :iconomega-steam: ) asked me to sprite him a couple of 19th Century freight cars to compliment his newly-finished 97 locomotive sprite, and these standard gauge Virginia & Trukee prototype cars were the ones that he requested. As usual, these sprites are in one-pixel-to-the-inch (1:1) scale— I also made 85% scale versions to match the scale that Rey uses, and he has since modified those sprites for his purposes.

These paint schemes on my personal versions are fictitious, and the lettering is completely generic. These cars are so old-fashioned that I didn’t even try to work them into Eastern’s roster system. ^^;

I’m a transparent chap, so here are the reference sheets that Rey sent me to work with: [link] , [link] .

I've always loved the V&T cabeese. I intend on implementing a few of those into my early ER&W stock. ;p

I'm not much of a spriting fan, though. It's too meticulous for me. ^^;
